Körtövés Guest Village

Körtövés Guest Village is a holiday village consisting of 9 cottages, a restaurant, a wine cellar, an adventure park, two wooden hot tubs, and a children's playground. It is located in Vârghiș, 24 km from Kalnoky Castle, 39 km from Balu Park, and 43 km from Rupea Citadel. Körtövés is a village from bygone eras, with no electrical grid, phone signal, or Wi-Fi access—a gathering place of ancient times and traditions. Everything you see here is mostly local and handmade. These include wrought iron works, flooring, doors and windows, wood stoves, as well as furniture and interior fittings such as lamps, mattresses, and fabrics. In the old houses, there was a small room that functioned as a pantry. Nowadays, we place a greater emphasis on the bathroom, so in every house, the pantry has been replaced by a bathroom. Authenticity is preserved through stone cladding, wooden bathtubs, and wooden washbasins. If you are looking to have fun, we offer free use of the Körtövés adventure park, the playground, and the barbecue area. We also organize tours, bear watching experiences, and other outdoor activities.

At Körtövés Guest Village, lighting is provided by gas lamps, heating and hot water are supplied by wood-burning stoves, and electronic devices can only be charged at the reception.
